About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at New 5 Electrical Inc. As an Office Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our team members, including preparing and editing documents, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our office, including managing supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between our team and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Record Management: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Office Services: Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Supervision: Supervise and coordinate office administrative procedures, including overseeing the work of 3-4 team members.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment.
