Job Summary: The Sales Lead will play a crucial role in driving new business initiatives, nurturing existing client partnerships, and achieving or surpassing sales objectives. This position demands exceptional communication abilities, a strong customer-centric approach, and the capacity to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales avenues through diverse channels, including outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain positive business relationships to ensure ongoing sales and customer loyalty.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed personal and team sales goals through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
  • Product Knowledge: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to enhance overall performance.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management. Provide regular updates on sales performance to the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and communicate customer feedback to enhance products, services, and overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated and target-oriented with a proven sales track record.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Capability to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experience as a Founder or in a Sales role at an early-stage start-up.
  • Extensive network in industries such as Deep tech, AI, Mining, Sustainability, Clean Technology, Energy, Health Tech, Software, Hardware, EV, Agri-tech, Manufacturing, Biotech, and Natural Resources.
