About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategy Manager to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our Sales Strategy Canada Retail department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability in the Canadian retail market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development
    • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute sales plans and strategies for the Appetizers and Frozen Entrée portfolio.
    • Identify business opportunities and create action plans to address development gaps and strategic opportunities.
  • Customer Planning and Enablement
    • Lead the development and sell-in of customer plans for Appetizers and Frozen Entrée.
    • Develop sales tools and materials to enable successful sell-in of key initiatives.
  • Business Performance Management
    • Manage monthly and YTD business performance and trade spend reporting.
    • Recommend corrective actions to deliver annual plans and KPIs for the Appetizers and Frozen Entrée portfolio.
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Support the integrated sales planning and consensus process.
    • Assist with the preparation of Canadian Leadership Team Reporting and other day-to-day reports and analytics.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience
    • 4+ years in a similar sales strategy role
    • 1-2 years' experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Skills
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Power BI experience preferred
    • Experience in working with data sets and reports
