Magnet Search Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Sales Planning and Strategy to join their team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing sales planning processes that align with the strategic goals of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Sales Strategy: Analyze and optimize existing sales processes to improve efficiency and achieve forecast accuracy and net sales targets.
- Develop Annual Sales Plans: Lead the development and implementation of annual customer/channel and trade planning processes to deliver Gross Sales, Net Sales, and Trade targets, ensuring linkage to brand/category strategies.
- Promotional Strategy: Own and manage promotional strategy, including post-event promotion analytics, guideline development, and changes to the promo calendar for top customers.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities, risks, and solutions that balance customer and business needs, leading Business Development Managers and Brokers in developing and optimizing promotional support plans within guardrails and with maximum return on investment.
- Communication: Own the communication of customer forecasts and the impact of key demand drivers to internal stakeholders to inform the aligned demand plan.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or any other relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of business experience, preferably in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.
- Skills: Critical understanding of sales planning and trade management as they mutually impact business planning, strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to drive influential, data-focused conversations and decision-making.
