Help Desk Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing front-line technical support to our employees, ensuring that our computer systems and networks are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Identify and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Install and maintain software and hardware
- Document and maintain technical knowledge base
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Knowledge of current desktop and network operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 10)
- Knowledge of current commercial software applications (Microsoft Office XP, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2016 products)
- Familiarity with personal computer and network hardware components, data communications hardware, software and networking protocols
