About the Role

SaskIT Inc. is seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of user interactions, including issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other technical support analysts to share knowledge, best practices, and solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry developments to improve technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a technical support role or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
