We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics and fleet management operations at All Directions Transport. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient transportation services and effective team management.

Financial Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: $500,001 - $1,500,000
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and enhance departmental performance
  • Plan and coordinate daily operational activities
  • Recruit and train new staff members
  • Supervise and support team members
  • Manage financial operations and budget adherence
  • Negotiate service contracts and secure favorable rates
  • Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and freight
  • Set transportation service rates and monitor revenue streams
  • Maintain and organize inventory effectively
Team Leadership
  • Supervision: Manage a team of 11-15 individuals
Experience Requirements
  • Field Experience: 1 to 2 years in fleet management
Security and Compliance
  • Clearance: Basic security clearance required
  • Bondable: Must be bondable
Transportation Requirements
  • Vehicle: Must have a personal vehicle
  • License: Valid driver's license is necessary
Work Conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must handle a large workload and work under pressure
