Job Overview

Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career with Canada Post? We are currently in search of a dedicated individual to serve as an assistant in our post office. This role requires a strong customer service orientation while assisting clients at the service counter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell postal products and services to both businesses and the general public;
  • Accurately sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Assist customers by providing necessary information and forms;
  • Address delivery and service concerns to ensure swift and effective resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Completion of high school or equivalent, or relevant experience in business administration;
  • Experience in retail sales or service roles, particularly involving customer interaction and cash handling;
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles or postal operations;
  • Physical capability to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lbs, manage boxes, sort mail, and remain on feet for extended periods;
  • Availability for on-call temporary assignments.
