Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Post Office Assistant to join our team at Canada Post Corp. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals, providing expert advice and guidance to meet their needs.
  • Mail and Package Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail and packages into appropriate classifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Customer Support: Provide customers with information and forms, address delivery and service difficulties, and resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration, sales, or customer service.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
