Job Overview
At Canada Post, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Retail Associate who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service at our post office. This role involves engaging with customers at the service counter and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell postal products and services to the public and businesses;
- Accurately sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail;
- Assist customers by providing necessary information and forms;
- Address and resolve delivery and service-related issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalent, or relevant experience in business administration;
- Experience in retail sales or customer service environments, including handling cash transactions;
- Basic understanding of accounting systems or postal operations;
- Physical capability to lift mail containers up to 50 lbs, sort mail, and stand for extended periods;
- Availability for on-call temporary assignments.
