About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Learning Strategy & Development to join our team at Varicent. As a key member of our Education department, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, and Training teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor the Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, and Training teams to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to deliver high-quality training programs.
    • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of instructional designers, trainers, and other learning specialists.
  • Curriculum Development
    • Oversee course development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivery timelines.
    • Define and execute the strategy for the Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, and Training teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement in training programs and learning experiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Customer Success, Services, Support, Product, Partnerships, and HR to understand their training needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate training initiatives into business processes and support initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics
    • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics related to course development time, training revenue generated, course quality, learner engagement, learner satisfaction, and product adoption.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience working in high-growth SaaS companies.
    • 7+ years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on curriculum development, instructional design, and training program management.
    • 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Skills
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com, Asana, and Smartsheet preferred.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
