About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Programs & Strategy Manager to join our team at Grant Thornton. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing industry-leading learning solutions that drive business transformation and employee effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a thought leader and advocate for the development and delivery of learning solutions that align with our business strategy.
  • Assess current performance gaps and learning needs, and collaborate with other learning professionals to implement creative and effective learning solutions.
  • Provide value-added professional advice to business partners to enhance business results and employee effectiveness through learning.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions.
  • Develop methods and materials for learning interventions, including ILT, workshops, conferences, e-Learning, and job aids as needed.
  • Apply professional experience and judgment in the planning and accomplishment of projects, initiatives, and professional goals.
  • Manage learning design and delivery to meet timelines and budgets.
Requirements
  • Completed post-secondary education, professional certification, or equivalent experience in training and development/instructional design.
  • 7+ years' experience in adult learning or management/performance consulting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with and influence individuals from all areas, role levels, and functions in the firm.
  • Strong consultative skills, creativity, and agility, with excellent SME and stakeholder interviewing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering best-in-class online/e-learning courses and in-person development solutions.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of course development software, such as Articulate/Storyline, and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Experience in basic project management and client relationship management.
  • Ability to share samples of work during the interview process, if requested.
