Category Manager

We are in search of a **Category Manager for Indirect Procurement** to manage and optimize indirect purchasing activities, focusing on expenses and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and select suppliers and service providers, establishing clear contractual expectations for the organization. Aim for cost efficiency while ensuring user satisfaction;
- Maintain adherence to the organization's purchasing policies and ensure their implementation;
- Oversee all indirect procurement activities and negotiate contractual terms with suppliers;
- Assess supplier and service provider choices, engage in negotiations, and recommend solutions or products that align with the organization's requirements;
- Draft and negotiate contracts, and coordinate tender processes in partnership with stakeholders;
- Enhance the purchasing budget by evaluating cost trends and analyzing competing suppliers;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, propose, and execute a strategy aimed at reducing procurement costs, while establishing both triennial and annual budgets. This strategy should encompass expense optimization, procedural improvements, and associated hidden costs;
- A Bachelor's degree in Management, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience;
- Several years of experience in procurement within an international context, particularly in structured general purchasing;
- Strong understanding of indirect procurement and the ability to implement purchasing strategies and processes for a diverse clientele in a medium-sized organization;
- Bilingual proficiency in both spoken and written English and French;
- Competence in office software tools (MS Office);
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities;
- Customer-focused and brand-oriented mindset;
