Reporting to the Key Accounts Director, the Key Accounts Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the achievement of corporate goals related to the growth of Première Moisson and private label sales across all categories, including bakery, pastry, viennoiserie, and deli.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with extracting and analyzing periodic performance data, offering insights, and developing action plans to meet sales objectives.

Employment Status: Full-time - Permanent - 40 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days on-site / 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and attainment of corporate objectives
  • Ensure adherence to the Première Moisson brand image across all projects
  • Prepare and present periodic management reports, providing recommendations based on performance
  • Assess the potential and characteristics of current and prospective markets, along with customer needs and external factors (competitors, trends, pricing, market share)
  • Stay informed about emerging market trends and competitive dynamics
  • Manage various analytical tools
  • Oversee product listings on the banner platform
  • Develop analyses, action plans, and recommendations to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with the Major Accounts Director to formulate sales budget recommendations
  • Identify significant business opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
  • Analyze customer opportunities
  • Submit Gate documents for product innovation requests
  • Work with the Account Manager to propose strategies to enhance product sales
  • Recommend sales strategies based on ROI analysis of market data
  • Ensure that Première Moisson commitments are upheld in new product development suggestions
  • Recommend the discontinuation of underperforming products when necessary
  • Prepare pricing structures for new products for customer review
  • Responsible for documentation related to price adjustments
  • Update promotional calendars by banner and share them internally and with suppliers
  • Analyze sales activity results
  • Generate and provide reports, analyses, and presentations on product and market performance
  • Conduct market and competition analysis; provide concise and comprehensive recommendations, including regular in-store visits
  • Perform post-launch evaluations for new products and packaging
  • Contribute to the development of customer sales strategies
  • Support the sales team during customer presentations
  • Process sample requests
  • Follow up on brand representative events and ensure the availability of necessary materials
  • Provide post-event reports for major activities
  • Ensure compliance with advertising schedules and respond promptly to deviations with recommendations and actions
  • Conduct monthly point-of-sale tours
  • Conduct competitive analysis tours at least twice a year or as needed
  • Suggest process improvement ideas

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the food industry
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Dunnhumby is preferred
  • Understanding of the Metro environment is desirable
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills in French and English
  • Passionate about work, products, and customer engagement
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle
