Position Overview:

Boulangerie Première Moisson is seeking a Key Accounts Manager.

Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing for the Industrial Division, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving corporate growth objectives across all product lines within North American accounts.

Aligned with the values, strategy, and business challenges of Boulangerie Première Moisson, the Key Accounts Manager will oversee a range of activities, including:

  • Developing new retail and foodservice partnerships
  • Identifying business opportunities
  • Providing recommendations for distribution channels and brokers
  • Advising on pricing strategies
  • Coordinating new product launches with clients
  • Conducting market and competitive analyses
  • Reviewing sales performance and customer requirements
  • Evaluating trade marketing promotions

The Key Accounts Manager serves as the primary liaison between customer needs and the Boulangerie Première Moisson team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Management
  • Setting growth targets for assigned accounts
  • Implementing and achieving corporate objectives
  • Upholding the company’s image across various projects
  • Streamlining departmental processes
  • Managing logistics for food fairs and events
  • Overseeing reimbursement claims for export programs
  • Preparing and presenting management reports with actionable insights
  • Identifying business opportunities within the territory
  • Collaborating with brokers across Canada and the U.S.
  • Contributing to the sales and expense budget
  • Supervising an account manager focused on distributors and foodservice
  • Assessing market potential and customer needs
  • Recommending relevant trade fairs and managing event logistics
  • Staying informed on market trends and competitive dynamics

Major Account Management:

  • Submitting product innovation proposals for assigned accounts
  • Driving sales growth with existing clients and developing new partnerships
  • Providing strategic insights to enhance product sales
  • Participating in cross-functional category discussions
  • Ensuring alignment with product development promises
  • Recommending discontinuation of underperforming products
  • Submitting pricing structures for new offerings
  • Facilitating acceptance of price adjustments
  • Managing various program agreements in collaboration with finance and sales teams
  • Keeping management informed of any issues
  • Processing sample requests and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Managing liquidation of products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration
  • At least 7 years of experience in product management, project management, or major account management
  • A minimum of 7 years in a management role within the food industry
  • Knowledge of the U.S. market is a significant advantage
  • Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • A passion for the product and customer engagement
