Join Golden Life Management as we expand our services in senior housing and care across western Canada. We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Care Leadership Coordinator to enhance our Nursing Care team at Joseph Creek Village. This role is pivotal in supporting the recruitment and onboarding of a dedicated clinical staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Director of Clinical Care, overseeing the nursing team with established lines of authority and communication.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Care and Community Manager in the recruitment, performance management, and evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
  • Assist the team in developing and executing comprehensive care plans tailored to residents' individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and align care with the mission and philosophy of Golden Life Management.
  • Implement the RAI MDS program, focusing on outcome evaluation and performance metrics monitoring.
  • Engage with educational institutions for the placement of practicum students.
  • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Address family and client concerns through the Positive Solutions process.
  • Co-facilitate departmental meetings to enhance communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate and oversee operational activities within the department.
  • Participate in strategic planning and accreditation initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Director of Clinical Care and Quality & Clinical Practice Consultant to identify and address educational needs, including policy and procedure reviews.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required.
  • Maintain current registration with BCCNM as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Possess a minimum of five years of management experience, including supervising a multidisciplinary team and managing budgets.
  • Bring prior experience in long-term care settings.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities, effective time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate a capacity to plan, direct, evaluate, and manage the delivery of diverse care services within a social model framework.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with a passion for teamwork.
  • Provide documentation of a Negative TB Screening and Immunization Records.
  • Successfully complete a vulnerable sector criminal record check.
