Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Financial Planning Manager within the Desjardins Insurance Agent team. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual eager to contribute to the growth of our agency through insightful client interactions and exceptional service delivery. If you possess a proactive mindset and excel in dynamic settings, this role offers a promising career path with substantial earning potential and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client requirements, and promote suitable products and services.
  • Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support, which may involve addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims, and billing issues.
  • Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Occasionally complete projects in partnership with the insurance provider.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain a portfolio of clients in compliance with all regulations and corporate policies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing).
  • Proven history of meeting sales targets is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Aptitude for multitasking.
  • Capability to present effectively to prospective clients.
  • IFIC license required.
  • LLQP license required.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

This position is with an independent contractor agent affiliated with the Desjardins exclusive agent network, and not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
