Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to become a key member of our Finance department. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for managing the budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and conducting regional and divisional analytics, along with variance analysis. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and collaborate closely with Divisional Financial Controllers and department heads. In this capacity, you will lead the analytics initiatives and play a crucial role in shaping strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with exceptional skills in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, analytics, and effective communication.

This position is full-time and will require occasional travel to various divisional locations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the company’s financial models, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning. Develop, manage, and automate reports comparing actual performance against forecasts, budgets, and previous years, to be reviewed regularly with Divisional stakeholders. Analyze and report on essential financial and operational metrics, identifying trends, monitoring progress, and providing actionable recommendations. Lead efforts to ensure seamless integration between financial record systems and budgeting software, as well as broader business intelligence tools. Manage various ad hoc projects to support senior management and facilitate informed business decisions. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to aid senior management in decision-making processes. Coordinate and manage requests from the Corporate Office. Analyze Working Capital and departmental spending. Thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous, and enjoyable work environment. Demonstrate a proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels. Exhibit strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with a track record of gathering, analyzing, and presenting data effectively. Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, delivering accurate results while adapting to changing priorities. Detail-oriented and process-focused. Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines under pressure. Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A within a corporate setting or relevant consulting experience. An MBA or CPA designation is advantageous. Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Extensive experience in financial modeling. Familiarity with budgeting software and business intelligence tools. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
