Position Overview

The Shift Manager at Wendy's Restaurant plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Scheduling: Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of team members involved in food preparation and service.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage a team of approximately 5-10 individuals, including:

  • Cooks
  • Food service counter attendants
  • Food preparers
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines. Extended periods of standing are expected.
