We are looking for a dedicated individual to take on the position of:
FULL-TIME CONTRACT POSITION
TEAM SUPERVISOR – CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH
LOCATION: SUDBURY
COMPENSATION: Salary Range: $94,737 to $116,315
Position Overview
The Team Supervisor for Children's Mental Health is responsible for overseeing the Children's Mental Health Workers. This role ensures that the program is tailored to meet the unique needs, structure, and culture of the communities served. The supervisor will also be responsible for establishing and implementing quality standards and policies that are responsive to child welfare issues. This position operates within the framework of relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work
- Minimum of a College Diploma in Human Services
- At least two (2) years of experience in coordinating or managing social programs
- One (1) year of direct service experience with children and families
- Experience collaborating with Indigenous communities and organizations
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Additional Requirements
- Respect and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and teachings
- Ability to communicate in Anishnaabemowin is an asset
- Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Possession of a Class 'G' Ontario Driver's Licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel
- Must have $1M automobile insurance coverage
