LOCATION: SUDBURY

Position Overview
The Supervisor of Children's Mental Health Services will oversee the Children's Mental Health Workers, ensuring that programs are tailored to meet the unique needs and cultural contexts of the communities served. This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of Children's Mental Health Workers.
- Development and implementation of programs that respect community structures and cultural values.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and policies related to child welfare.
- Collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.
- Minimum of a College Diploma in Human Services.
- At least two years of experience in coordinating or managing social services.
- One year of direct service experience with children and families.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Respect and understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions.
- Ability to communicate in Anishnaabemowin is an asset.
- Criminal Records Check required.
- Valid Class 'G' Ontario Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.
- Must hold $1M automobile insurance coverage.
