Our vibrant establishment is in search of a Culinary Operations Manager who will actively engage in service during operational hours. This role involves being a cultural ambassador and ensuring a lively atmosphere while directly overseeing and scheduling an average of 20 team members and 2-5 trainers per shift. You will embody a positive spirit while upholding company standards and policies, including conduct, attendance, and appearance. Additionally, you will delegate tasks and ensure accountability for the restaurant and team members, ensuring our guests continue to enjoy their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high food quality standards, ensuring our offerings are unparalleled.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety regulations, and company policies to uphold the gold standard in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Act as an expert and mentor to the team, guiding them in executing health and safety protocols.
  • Train and supervise team members to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Conduct regular line checks and maintain cleanliness standards to achieve exceptional ratings in Health Department audits.
  • Oversee the selection, onboarding, and retention of team members through motivation, recognition, and development.
  • Uphold high standards in our food and beverage programs.
  • Facilitate pre-shift meetings with staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain open communication regarding food and beverage details related to service.
  • Manage inventory and control costs effectively.
  • Meet labor targets and other operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, guest service, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer and administrative skills.
  • Ability to train effectively and deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • Passion for food, beverage, and the restaurant industry.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and foster team development.
  • Current First Aid, Serving It Right, and Food Safe Certification preferred but not mandatory.
