Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the food preparation staff, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of team members involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on their roles, including sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Order Preparation: Compile food order summaries for the head chef.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules for the team.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
