Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services. This position involves overseeing daily activities and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education or equivalent experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
