Job Description

  • Lead and Guide Sales Team: Lead and guide a team of event specialists to achieve individual and team goals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Implement strategic sales plans to meet annual targets, identifying new business opportunities and focusing on prospecting within targeted markets.
  • Talent Management and Development: Collaborate with HR and other team members for recruitment and training initiatives, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee outbound sales efforts in targeted markets yearly, coordinating between event specialists and operational services to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Business Growth and Expansion: Drive business development and expand sales across Canada, identifying new market opportunities and fostering strong relationships with clients.
  • Financial Management and Reporting: Forecast and plan using company tools, monitoring customer feedback and addressing complaints while maintaining minimal expenses and rental rates for properties.
  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to director meetings with new ideas and leadership, aligning the business unit's vision with the team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
