Position Overview:

The International Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing and facilitating the processes associated with the admission of international and private partnership students. This position is essential in providing comprehensive analysis and reporting on various facets of the admissions journey, ensuring an efficient and effective experience for prospective students while aiding the institution in achieving its international enrollment objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all activities related to international admissions and private partnerships.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to engage with prospective students and recruitment agents.
  • Set and monitor admission targets to enhance the conversion rate of applicants to enrolled students.
  • Maintain and update Salesforce reports and dashboards to track admissions metrics.
  • Serve as the primary contact for inquiries from international students, fostering relationships with relevant departments.
  • Provide guidance and training to International Enrollment Officers and collaborate with the Registrar's Office.
  • Identify and address admission requirements and barriers in collaboration with academic departments.
  • Champion process enhancements for the International Enrollment team and facilitate regular review meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a three-year diploma or degree in Business Administration, International Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in administrative roles within a post-secondary or client service environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian college system and international student admission protocols.
  • Experience with Salesforce and student information systems is preferred.
