Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and mammography. Your expertise will help us provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and mammography
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality imaging results
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved training program in radiography
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of imaging principles and practices, with a focus on quality and safety
