Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray and mammography
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
- Graduate of an approved training program in radiography
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
- Knowledge of the CMRTO's Essential Competencies and ability to apply them in practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
As a Medical Imaging Specialist at Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound, you will work in a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging facility, equipped with the latest technology and equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals, and will be supported by a team of experienced radiologists and technologists.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $35.28-$39.35 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including dental care, disability insurance, employee assistance program, extended health care, life insurance, on-site parking, paid time off, RRSP match, tuition reimbursement, and vision care.
