Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and small parts imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and small parts imaging
  • Assist in interventional procedures and provide support to other imaging modalities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Registration in good standing with CMRITO required
  • Recent experience in a hospital environment
  • Competence in scanning abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid doppler, and assisting in interventional procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and adaptable
