Position Overview: Regional Vice President, Sales Canada

The Regional Vice President of Sales for Canada is responsible for steering the strategic vision of the Commercial Sales Team and the Sales Operations division. This role involves crafting and implementing sales strategies, channel programs, and business development initiatives to meet organizational objectives. The position also entails overseeing sales growth and profitability within the commercial sector by optimizing product offerings, pricing strategies, expense management, and enhancing customer experiences. As a dynamic sales leader, you will collaborate with various Allegion leaders and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager of Canada to formulate and execute the annual business strategy aligned with the Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Drive the sales strategy while managing costs and the overall budget to achieve financial targets, guiding Regional Sales Leaders and their teams.
  • Support the development of strategic priorities and channel initiatives that align with sales objectives and budgetary constraints.
  • Leverage your sales expertise to mentor and develop the sales team.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients in the Canadian commercial sector.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with cross-functional leaders to support Allegion's commercial sales goals.
  • Oversee performance management, talent development, recruitment, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee engagement efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Provide detailed reports to the General Manager on business performance and strategic actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all Allegion policies and procedures.
  • Implement channel strategies and develop new channels to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for Commercial Canada.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track new construction and aftermarket opportunities, driving positive business outcomes.
  • Maintain open communication with the team to foster engagement in business initiatives and overall direction.
  • Participate in internal product and program deployment teams.
  • Provide insights and guidance regarding competitive landscape.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of sales experience leading high-performing teams and establishing sales targets.
  • Experience in creating and implementing value-added channel programs.
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence others and drive action.
  • Strong customer-centric approach.
  • Results-driven with a track record of motivating team members to achieve objectives.
  • Courageous leadership with a commitment to change.
  • Relevant industry experience is essential.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel to the United States.
  • Strong strategic planning and communication skills.
