Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Davis Properties Inc. as a Front Desk Associate. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Room Reservations and Management
    • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Guest Services and Support
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions.
    • Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
      • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
    • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Personal Suitability
      • Efficient interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
