Hotel Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join our team at The Parkdale Hostellerie. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
- Communication: Provide excellent oral communication, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Parkdale Hostellerie is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be working in a team environment and will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
