Hotel Receptionist

We are a reputable hospitality establishment seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out
Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process check-in and check-out procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
Complaint ResolutionInvestigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
Front Desk OperationsProcess group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
Cash Handling and Inventory ManagementBalance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
Emergency ProceduresFollow emergency and safety procedures, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Housekeeping and CleaningPerform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
Requirements- Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Computer and Technology SkillsProficiency in multi-line switchboard and word processing software is required.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
Personal SuitabilityDependability, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, team player, and resourcefulness are essential qualities for this role.
Screening Questions- Language
English is the primary language required for this position.
Work TermPermanent employment is offered.
Hours of Work30 to 40 hours per week.
