Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Hotel Clerk at Davis Properties Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless transitions for our guests.
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local attractions.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages with a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work, as required.
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous experience in the field of employment, an asset.
  • Equipment for remote work, including internet and home office setup.

Our hotel offers a hybrid work environment, with a mix of on-site and remote work opportunities.

Hours: 20 to 40 hours bi-weekly
