Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Léo, a trendy hub for all-day dining located in the heart of the Le Westin Tremblant hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional menu execution and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes that align with our culinary vision and brand.
  • Collaborate with the FOH team to create a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage inventory and ordering to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimize waste.
  • Train and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Chef to develop and implement new systems and procedures to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performing restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Culinary diploma or degree is an asset.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
