About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Léo, a trendy hub for all-day dining located in the Le Westin Tremblant hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Monitor kitchen inventory and ordering to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experience
- Participate in menu development and implementation to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 2-3 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced, high-performing restaurant
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
- Strong knowledge of professional cooking and knife handling skills
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
