The Analyst, Strategy and Planning will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and supporting technical initiatives within the Oxford Technology Team. Responsibilities span financial management, software development processes, and information systems. Key duties include ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, maintaining our budget application, and validating charges from our parent company. The role also involves supporting software testing efforts, assisting with pipeline management, and developing wireframes for new dashboards. Additionally, the Analyst will assist with research projects, manage our CMS (Confluence), and ensure information accuracy and accessibility across systems. This multifaceted position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic technology environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track budget allocations and expenditures, ensuring all financial activities are within approved limits.
  • Maintain and update the budget application to reflect accurate financial data.
  • Validate charges from the parent company and ensure they are processed promptly.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support financial operations and strategic planning.
  • Additionally, undertake various administrative and research duties as needed to support team objectives.
  • Review and document test results for new initiatives to ensure robustness of new solutions.
  • Develop wireframes for new dashboards.
  • Ensure Operating model and cost model are updated with latest changes.
  • Manage and document changes to operating and cost model.
  • Assist with management of software pipeline and implementation.
  • Manage the timely payment of invoices and ensure they are correctly coded to the budget.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in finance, technology, or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.
  • Must be comfortable working in an unstructured environment and able to follow up on tasks independently with minimal oversight.
