Job Summary:

The Toronto District School Board is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Strategy and Planning Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of strategic plans and initiatives that drive student success and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable pupil accommodation data to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of student enrollment trends, demographic changes, and other key indicators to support long-term planning and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives and projects that align with the Board's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective data management systems to ensure accurate and timely data reporting and analysis.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders on strategic planning and data analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in strategic planning and data analysis to ensure the Board remains competitive and effective.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field such as planning, geography, business administration, or public administration.
  • 2+ years of experience in strategic planning, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and other relevant tools and technologies.
