Pediatric Nephrology Registered Nurse

Become a vital member of the healthcare team at PHSA, dedicated to delivering exceptional care for pediatric patients with kidney conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient health records, including assessments and care plans.
  • Deliver direct nursing care to children undergoing peritoneal and hemodialysis treatments.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
  • Act as a primary contact for patient-related questions and concerns.
  • Support the training and development of nursing colleagues and students.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Nursing program with valid RN licensure in British Columbia.
  • Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in pediatric dialysis.
  • Certification in pediatric peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Cardiac Life Support.
