Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Regional Outage Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning equipment outages across regions to improve equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the sharing of labor resources across the region to improve work performance and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Assist regional stakeholders in ensuring outage plans are timely submitted to the Control Centre Operator Engineers for safe work approval.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Control Centre Operators for work during outages at multiple sites within the region.
  • Serve as the regional single point of contact for outage communication with Control Centre Operator Engineers and Scheduling Groups.

Requirements:

  • Eight-plus years of previous field operations experience, or equivalent mix of formal education and experience, or related university degree and six-plus years' experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to undergo various background screening, including a 5-year driving record, criminal check, and company-sponsored medical and drug testing.

Working Conditions:

  • 80% office, 20% field.
  • Occasional requirement to work long hours on short notice.
  • In-frequent travel throughout regional locations within Canada.
