The Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, will collaborate with the Marketing team to facilitate all marketing initiatives and events related to Seed Hawk. This role will assist in promoting products, programs, and the Seed Hawk brand through effective marketing communication strategies while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Additionally, this position will support the HR team in managing recruitment campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign; knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite is a plus.
  • Understanding of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Established expertise in digital marketing tools and practices, including social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Communication Strategist to ensure the successful execution of our marketing strategy.
  • Act as a steward of Seed Hawk's brand and reputation, ensuring our standards are upheld throughout the organization.
  • Develop essential marketing materials, including campaign creatives, brand and product launches, and product line extensions.
  • Assist in maintaining the company websites and work with sales and marketing teams to recommend content updates.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager and Brand Strategist to create strategies for B2B marketing support materials and initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure accurate messaging is conveyed through presentations and promotional materials; collaborate on developing and implementing pitch concepts.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance Seed Hawk's brand visibility and foster consumer loyalty and product sales.
  • Execute marketing campaigns through email, digital platforms, and all major social media channels.

Accountabilities

  • Implement strategic marketing plans to meet corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Oversee all company social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct competitive product research by assessing product features, market share, pricing, and advertising strategies.
  • Assist in organizing, coordinating, and managing regional trade show activities, while evaluating the effectiveness of these events and exploring new opportunities.
  • Monitor industry news and provide reports on emerging trends, competitive products, and new hires.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing communications plan with measurable lead generation goals, encompassing all communication initiatives, including PR, web, direct mail, advertising, and trade shows.
  • Coordinate the design and production of print materials, such as product specifications, brochures, direct mail, and interactive/electronic marketing media.
