Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Leader is tasked with cultivating and overseeing a sales territory while gaining proficiency in the sales methodologies of State Chemical. This role involves acquiring in-depth product knowledge and utilizing company training resources effectively. As the Regional Sales Leader achieves established objectives for territory expansion, the individual will transition into the full responsibilities of a District Sales Manager, including the recruitment of an account manager to oversee the newly developed territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass sales growth objectives by consistently increasing average order values, expanding new agreements, and enhancing monthly order frequency.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide field supervision and mentorship to both new and experienced sales representatives.
  • Set clear sales goals and objectives through strategic business and territory planning.
  • Uphold and promote corporate policies and standards in a professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong sales relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the development of future Sales Managers through targeted training initiatives.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between field sales and corporate headquarters.
  • Complete necessary documentation to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Promote company marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in training and coaching sales representatives throughout the sales and planning processes.
  • Proficiency in territory and district management.
  • Strong interviewing skills for sales roles and customer interactions.
  • Effective selling and coaching abilities, along with problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to engage in collaborative projects that foster innovative ideas for immediate results.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
