POSITION SUMMARY

Mosaic is seeking a District Manager to oversee our dynamic and expanding organization. The District Manager will play a crucial role in developing and leading a team of Sales Representatives, which includes both full-time and part-time personnel. This position is essential for managing sales efforts in large retail and grocery accounts. The District Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Field Manager, ensuring effective communication and tracking of the performance metrics of the field teams.

This role requires a home office setup and entails travel flexibility, with an expectation of 50% to 75% travel within the designated district for field visits and occasional meetings with clients or retailers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The District Manager will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary liaison for Sales Representatives within the assigned district, providing ongoing sales support, training, and merchandising execution for various clients.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process, including final interviews and hiring, while managing all aspects of training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of the team.
  • Monitoring field performance outcomes and setting individual and team performance goals with a strong emphasis on accountability.
  • Analyzing data to develop strategies that meet district and program objectives.
  • Regularly sharing field insights and competitive intelligence with clients and field teams.
  • Offering continuous coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Demonstrating adaptability to changing business conditions while ensuring that the field organization meets or surpasses client expectations.
  • Building strong relationships with store associates and management through consistent and professional communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of management experience in retail, merchandising, training, sales, or field marketing.
  • Previous experience in retail sales and merchandising management, particularly in grocery and large retail environments, is highly preferred.
  • A dedicated home office with reliable internet access is necessary.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with the internet, email, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A natural ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals.
  • An outgoing and professional demeanor with the capability to quickly establish relationships.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational skills, able to work independently while maintaining ethical and professional standards.
  • Regularly updating supervisors on field issues and challenges using solution-oriented communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the designated territory as needed.
