About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Archaeologist to join our cultural resources team in London. As an Archaeologist, you will play a key role in providing report writing and laboratory support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to Report Composition: Assist in the development of high-quality reports that meet client expectations.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Manage and analyze cultural data, including artifacts and other historical materials.
  • Cultural Material Processing and Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of cultural materials, including artifacts and other historical items.
  • Administration: Provide administrative support to the team, including coordination of logistics and management of projects.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Resources, Heritage, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in an archaeological lab or in archaeological report writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Frameworks: Familiarity with the Ontario MCM's Standards and Guidelines for Consultant Archaeologists.
  • Project Management: Experience in coordinating logistics for multiple field teams and managing projects from proposal to completion.
  • Field Experience: Experience conducting archaeological excavations and managing field data.
  • Research and Writing Skills: Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documents.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
