Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Training Administrator to join our team at Executrade Consultants Ltd. in Edmonton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of all training courses for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and organize training sessions, including booking venues, coordinating with trainers, and managing participant lists.
  • Provide information to registrants, supervisors, and trainers regarding location, materials, and any changes to training plans or delivery.
  • Assist trainers and participants through the online registration process.
  • Act as the main point of contact in resolving any issues, delays, or changes in location requirements.
  • Provide ongoing general administrative support to the leadership team and branch staff, including taking minutes of meetings and distributing minutes.
  • Prepare and distribute training confirmation notifications, including logistics and training material.
  • Send cancellation notifications, venue relocation, and date changes as required.
  • Provide technical support to trainers and participate at the start of training sessions and if any issues arise during training presentations.
  • Track and provide updates regarding enrollment status, course completion, and overview to senior management.
  • Update online course information in multiple systems (LMS, Intranet) as required.
  • Manage all needed platforms for virtual training delivery, such as MS Teams, Webex, and Zoom.
  • Manage online learning calendars.
  • Create course shells and complete setup for newly developed eLearning modules, ensuring all necessary information for registrants is accessible.
  • Perform LMS archiving tasks, including ensuring all attendance is entered into the LMS, reviewing invoices for accuracy, sending forward for approval and payment, ensuring course evaluations have been completed by participants, and ensuring course certificates are available and/or issued as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, along with a post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • Previous experience working in the provincial government is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in a similar role.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, tech-savvy, and ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Moodle and/or Learning Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate of pay will be in the $30.00 range, dependent on skills and experience as they relate to the position.
