About Civeo's Business Development Role

Civeo, a leading provider of food production services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy, and collaborating closely with our production team to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production capabilities.
  • Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and sustainable partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the food production or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and a track record of achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strategic mindset and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License, with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's driving criteria.
