**Position Description**:
We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Project Management Office (PMO). The Information Services Department of the Information Management and Technology Portfolio provides an opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, coupled with cutting edge technology.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of PMO, the Project Coordinator will be:
- Coordinating project activities, logistics, and schedules
- Working efficiently, combining solid administrative and computer skills with an interest and skills in project management, process improvement working with teams and change management
- Planning project activities, prepare reports, and ensure project communications plans are met
**Here's What You'll Get To Do**
Reporting and Operational Management
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of activities within the project workplan.
- Develop monitoring/data collection tools and document project activities.
- Report on project progress to internal stakeholders including narrative and technical reports.
Logistics/Administration
- Maintain existing databases and project files including project contacts, timesheets, resources, and reports.
- Organize and minute committee meetings when required.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
Communication
- Ensure all projects have a comprehensive communication plan and support the Project Managers to execute this strategy.
- Create, update and disseminate project reports, newsletters, website and other materials as directed by the Project Managers.
**Here's What You'll Need**
- Bachelor’s Degree or a Business Management Certificate
- Flexible and adept at multi-tasking in a busy, fast-paced, interesting and challenging environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and to work confidently under pressure on tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to work around busy stakeholders’ schedule
- Understands the importance of and demonstrates a commitment to fostering a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in healthcare would be an asset
- PMP or CAPM certification would be an asset
**Employment Type**:1 year CONTRACT with Benefits.
