**The impact you will have**:
The Coordinator, Community Volunteer Experience engages and supports volunteers throughout the volunteer life cycle. This role partners across the organization and community to advance collective action and to help foster MS Canada as a charity of choice for volunteers. The Coordinator, Community Volunteer Experience will collaborate across teams to recruit and support volunteers as we deliver fundraising events and programs in support of Canadians living with MS.
- Delivers a positive volunteer experience throughout the life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and support.
- Drives staff-volunteer partnerships across community to foster volunteer engagement and build a strong volunteer pipeline.
- Supports volunteer engagement and recognition in partnership with the volunteer’s portfolio, such as identifying opportunities for growth and meaningful engagement with the organization.
- Provides input on volunteer strategy, such as identifying recruitment needs in collaboration with cross-portfolio colleagues.

**Requirements**:

- Is confident, energetic and results oriented
- Has experience in volunteer engagement and the ability to mobilize volunteers to achieve fundraising event goals
- Has a passion for enhancing the volunteer experience within the non-profit/health charity sector
- Is highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Is excellent at communicating, both verbally and written
- Thrives in working in a fast-paced professional environment with specific targets
- Has a track record of strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with a variety of staff, volunteers and community partners
- Cultivates a positive and supportive atmosphere by recognizing volunteer efforts, assisting volunteers with their endeavours and evaluating their experience
- Is self-motivated and a multi-tasker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Can always maintain confidentiality, with sensitivity to issues of disability and diversity
- Is flexible and can manage a diverse workload
- Has exceptional computer literacy with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and is proficient with database software and survey software
