Recruiting Coordinator

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- **Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies**: Design and execute effective volunteer recruitment strategies to attract diverse and committed individuals.
- **Outreach and Engagement**: Build relationships with community groups, educational institutions, and corporate partners to promote volunteer opportunities.
- **Screening and Onboarding**: Conduct interviews, background checks, and orientation sessions to ensure volunteers are well-prepared and aligned with our mission.
- **Volunteer Retention**: Create and manage volunteer appreciation programs, recognition events, and feedback mechanisms to maintain high levels of volunteer satisfaction.
- **Database Management**: Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, hours contributed, and feedback received using our volunteer management system.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with program managers to understand volunteer needs and ensure adequate staffing for various events and programs.
- **Promotion**: Utilize social media, our website, and other communication channels to promote volunteer opportunities and share volunteer success stories.
Qualifications:
- **Passion for Our Mission**: A strong commitment to empowering young girls and women.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in volunteer management, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage potential volunteers.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as needed.
