The firm is looking for a **Project Coordinator** to join their team.

**Job Overview**

The role of **Project Coordinator** is a full-time position in the company. As a full-service architecture, interior design, and construction studio, we are looking to bring on a professional who is a self-starter and organized to carry out the duties below. This position will provide the opportunity to collaborate with our internal design team during the design process through to construction completion and to work with some of the most successful and affluent homeowners and business people across Canada and internationally.
- Qualifications_
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
- 5-10+ years in a similar role, with a focus on high-end residential projects (other building types an asset)
- Demonstrated experience in successfully guiding a project from construction to completion
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong leadership and time management skills
- Thorough understanding of construction methods and techniques associated with all trades and suppliers
- Thorough knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and relevant provincial and federal legislation
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Zoning By-Laws, and construction safety regulations
- Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Good team player, while also comfortable with working independently
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Key Responsibilities_
- Assist the Director of Construction in leading construction projects from initial concept through to completion
- Liaise with the Director of Construction to coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within the specified scope, budget, and schedule
- Collaborate with the Director of Construction and Director of Finance to monitor the project budget and schedule, tracking overall progress and milestones
- Serve as the point of communication between company teams and external resources
- Facilitate communication and address issues and/or potential risks that may affect the project budget and/or schedule
- Provide and implement solutions to resolve any issues and/or potential risks
- Drive the project schedule forward, taking all necessary actions to complete tasks within their required timeframe
- Trades and suppliers coordination
- Material takeoffs and order processing, including trade / vendor follow ups
- Aid in monitoring the quality of work and set high standards for all project team members
- Aid in other architecture and interior design coordination tasks within the office, as required
- Recommend changes or procedures to management to increase efficiency and implement cost-savings
